AUBURN, N.Y. (September 24, 2025) – Tonight, The REV Theatre Company opens the final production of its 2025 mainstage season, “Bonnie & Clyde.” The production runs through October 11 at Auburn’s historic Merry-Go-Round Playhouse.

“Bonnie & Clyde, The Musical” centers on a rebellious duo from Texas, both craving recognition and escape, who decided to “raise a little hell” and became two of the biggest American folk heroes, despite their violent crimes. Fearless, shameless, and never afraid to get their hands dirty, “Bonnie & Clyde’s” true crime story charts a compelling course right up to the moments of their fateful end. Set to a riveting score combining rockabilly, blues, and gospel music, “Bonnie & Clyde” is an unmissable, action-packed musical about grabbing the spotlight any way you can.

“Bonnie & Clyde” is directed and choreographed by The REV’s Producing Artistic Director, Brett Smock. He is joined by Music Director, Alan J. Plado (Broadway: “Disney’s Beauty & the Beast, Kinky Boots; Tours: “Beautiful,” “Dirty Dancing,” “Jersey Boys,” Legally Blonde”), Scenic Designer Janie E. Howland (“Ja-Ja’s African Hair Braiding” at Speakeasy Stage; “Spitfire Grill” at Umbrella Stage Company; “Barefoot in the Park at Barnstormers Theatre”), Lighting Designer Nathan W. Scheuer (The Kennedy Center, The Muny, Broadway in Chicago, Center Theatre Group, TUTS, Tuacahn, The Repertory Theatre of St. Louis, Pittsburgh CLO,  Sacramento Music Circus, and more), Sound Designer Sun Hee Kil (“N/A” at Lincoln Center; “As You Like It” at the Public & Shakespeare in the Park; “Suffs” and “The Visitor” at the Public), Costume Designer Andrea Hood (“Hercules,” “Twelfth Night,” “As You Like It,” “Romeo & Juliet” at The Public Theater/Shakespeare in the Park; “Love and Information” at New York Theatre Workshop, Lortel Nomination; “The Who’s Tommy” at Kennedy Center), Hair & Makeup Designer Mary Tyler, and resident Props Designer Marshall Pope. Christopher Elst is the production’s Fight & Intimacy Director. The Assistant Music Director is Alex Gutierrez (Tour: “Dear Evan Hansen”) and Celia Madeoy serves as Dialect Coach.

Additional members of the “Bonnie & Clyde” creative team include: The Production Stage Manager is Mollie Heil with Assistant Stage Managers Morgan Benford and Jessica O’Connor. The Casting Director for The REV’s 2025 season is Megan Larche Dominick, CSA.

“Bonnie & Clyde” stars Lauren Marut as Bonnie Parker and Mason Ballard as Clyde Barrow and features Bridget Beirne as Emma Parker, Bella Coppola as Blanche Barrow, Andrew Fehrenbacher as Ted Hinton, Amanda Ferguson as Cumie Barrow, Atticus Shaindlin as Buck Barrow, and Matthew Stocke as Sheriff Schmid. Sloane Cummings and Annie Lake will split performances as Young Bonnie and Kian Byrons and Billy Kufs will split performances as Young Clyde.

The ensemble of “Bonnie & Clyde” features, in alphabetical order, Parker Aimone, Piper Jean Bailey, Claire Flynn, Wesley Hodges, Jake Jervis, Lilli Komurek, Mary Malaney, Marcus J. Paige, Theo Pearson, Jack Russell, Crystal Sha’nae, and Dax Valdes.

“Bonnie & Clyde” features a book by Ivan Menchell, lyrics by Don Black, and music by Frank Wildhorn, and is presented through special arrangement with Music Theatre International (MTI).
