Melanie Attuil (Assistant Stage Manager) is thrilled to be back at The REV for another production! Previous credits with The REV include Jesus Christ Superstar, Bonnie and Clyde, Barnum, and Top Hat. Other select credits include Beetlejuice and Jersey Boys with Norwegian Cruise Line; Escape to Margaritaville, Rock of Ages, and Beautiful: The Carole King Musical at Gateway Playhouse; and Elf The Musical at Surflight Theatre. Rueben D. Echoles (Hair & Makeup Designer) (he/him) is an accomplished playwright, director, choreographer, illustrator, costume, and wig designer. He has had the pleasure of working with many theater companies across the country and in the Chicagoland area such as ETA, Black Ensemble, Mmpact, Congo Square, Refuge, Porchlight Music Theater, Drury Lane Oakbrook, Writers Theater, Theo Ubique, Invictus, The Goodman Theater, and Studio One Dance Theater. His most recent Wig Design projects include Tartuffe at Cleveland Playhouse; Ma’ Rainey’s Black Bottom (Associate Wig Design) at The Goodman Theatre; Joe Turner’s Come and Gone at Indiana Repertory Theatre; Hello Dolly at Olney Theater Center; Fat Ham at Cleveland Playhouse; The Lion in Winter at Court Theatre; RENT at The Muny; Dreamgirls at Paramount Aurora and North Carolina Theatre Company. Christopher Elst (Fight/Intimacy Director) (he/they) is proud to return to The REV! An advocate for safe practices in theaters nationwide, Christopher has performed, directed, and designed violence, movement, and intimacy for theaters across the country, including Ogunquit Playhouse, Door Shakespeare, First Stage Children’s Theatre, Next Act Theatre, Milwaukee Chamber Theatre, Renaissance Theatreworks, Florentine Opera Company, and the Milwaukee Rep. In his commitment to maintaining up-to-date skills, he recently graduated summa cum laude with a Masters of Fine Arts in Theatre Arts from Western Illinois University and earned the rank of Fight Director with the Society of American Fight Directors.

Mollie Heil* (Production Stage Manager) (she/her) is delighted to return to The REV! Previous REV credits: Bonnie & Clyde, Top Hat, Jesus Christ Superstar, Newsies, Jersey Boys, A Chorus Line, and State Fair. Selected regional credits: Dear Jack, Dear Louise at Alabama Shakespeare Festival; White Christmas at Tuacahn; and 10+ productions with Arizona Theatre Company. Tiffany Howard (Costume Designer) (she/her) is back in the costume shop for her 19th season! She is thrilled to be designing all four shows this year. In addition to the summer shows, Tiffany also designs and builds most of the costumes for our amazing education branch of theatre that reaches thousands of NY state students. In recent years she has also worked with the Schweinfurth Art Center, Skylight Theatre and Nazareth College. Favorite designs include Top Hat, Jesus Christ Superstar, Holiday Inn, Mamma Mia!, Into The Woods, Cabaret, Beautiful: The Carole King Musical, and From Here to Eternity. Ben Kapilow (Assistant Music Director) (he/him) works as Assistant Professor/Music Director for the Performing Arts Department at SUNY Cortland. Prior to his appointment at SUNY Cortland, he served as Resident Music Director for the Media Theatre for the Performing Arts. He has also worked at Walnut Street Theatre, Fulton Theatre, Syracuse Stage, Hangar Theatre, and as a keyboard sub on the National Tour of Wicked. As a composer, he has pieces published with Alfred Music, Choristers Guild, and Heritage Press. As a speaker, he has presented at the Music Teachers National Association Conference, Pennsylvania Music Teachers Association Conference and the National Conference on Keyboard Pedagogy, and his writing has been published in Piano Magazine. He received an MM from the Peabody Conservatory and graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Swarthmore College.

Megan Larche Dominick, CSA (Casting Director) (she/her) Enjoying her third season as the resident Casting Director for The REV. Broadway credits include the revivals of A Chorus Line and Grease; Bring it On: The Musical; Legally Blonde; Grace; and Disney’s The Lion King. Associate Artistic Director / Director of New Works for Theatre Under the Stars. Associate Producer / Casting Director for The Muny (four-time Artios Award nominee for Outstanding Achievement in Casting). Logan Medland (Music Director) (he/him) was in the original Broadway orchestra of A Bronx Tale, and is excited to help bring this show to The REV. The last time he was at The REV was as Writer/Composer/Lyricist of Fingers and Toesin 2012. His wide-ranging career encompasses work as a Writer, Composer, and Music Director. As a fiction writer, he was the 2023 Grand Prize winner of the Northwind Writer’s award. His first collection of short stories, “Start a Religion Stay Out of Jail” was published in 2023 by Raw Earth Ink Press. He wrote music and lyrics for Love Goddess: The Rita Hayworth Musical, Off-West End, London in 2022 (currently in development with Brett Smock). Broadway credits include Dr. Zhivago and A Bronx Tale. He was Music Director on the National tours of Jersey Boys, Cats, A Christmas Story, and Chicago. He was Music Director for From Here to Eternity, with Tim Rice and Brett Smock. Most recently he was Associate Music Director for Into the Woods at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival.

Elle May Patterson (Choreographer) (she/her) is thrilled to be back at The REV after choreographing Evita in 2023! Originally from Sydney, Australia, she trained at Brent Street Studios before earning her degree in Musical Theatre from Lasalle College of the Arts in Singapore. Now based in Los Angeles, Elle works internationally as both a choreographer and performer. Recent choreography credits include Mean Girls at City Springs Theatre in Atlanta, and the world premiere of Who’s Got Me? in California. As a performer, Elle was the Dance Captain on the First National Tour of The SpongeBob Musical, with additional credits including Mamma Mia! At The REV; “MTV Video Music Awards,” A Chorus Line, and Young Frankenstein.

Marshall Pope (Props Designer) (he/him) is thrilled to be in his 15th season at The REV, working as Props Supervisor for the last eight. Props credits at The REV include Grease, Grand Hotel, South Pacific, Working, Loch Ness, Buddy, 42nd Street, Footloose, Almost Heaven, Catch Me If You Can, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, State Fair, Ain’t Misbehavin’, Evita, Into The Woods, Beautiful, A Chorus Line, Jersey Boys, Newsies, Bandstand, May We All, Jesus Christ Superstar, Barnum, Top Hat, and Bonnie and Clyde, in addition to numerous productions for The REV On Tour. His work has also been seen on the Playhouse stage as a scenic designer, including Almost Heaven, Jersey Boys,Newsies, and Bandstand. He has also designed locally for Skaneateles High School and Geneva Theatre Guild. Proud member of The Society of Props Managers.

José Santiago† (Lighting Designer) is a New York City-based Lighting Designer. His work has been seen at Palm Beach Dramaworks, Pioneer Theatre Company, Ogunquit Playhouse, Maltz Jupiter Theatre, Chicago Opera, The Paramount Theatre (Aurora, IL), Drury Lane (Chicago), Skylight Music Theatre, Center REP, Bristol Riverside Theatre, North Shore Music Theatre, Theatre by the Sea, Bay Street Theatre, Gretna Playhouse, The Gateway, The Engeman Theater, Guild Hall, Penobscot Theatre, 5 Star Theatricals, Slow Burn Theatre, Gulfshore Playhouse. Brett Smock** (Producing Artistic Director / Director, A Bronx Tale, Tarzan, and Carousel) (he/him) began his tenure here at The REV in 1992 when he appeared on the Playhouse stage as a dancer in two consecutive seasons. In 1994, he became a choreographer here, and in 1996, a resident director/choreographer. Throughout the early 2000s, Brett balanced his artistic work at the Playhouse alongside a busy freelance career as a director/choreographer based in NYC and LA. In 2011, Brett came aboard as the General Manager/Associate Artistic Director and, in 2014, was appointed the Producing Artistic Director. To date, Brett has been at the helm of countless shows here on the Playhouse stage. Highlights include the acclaimed productions of Bonnie & Clyde, Barnum, Jersey Boys, Bandstand, Into The Woods, Catch Me if You Can, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, State Fair, 42nd Street, Almost Heaven, Footloose, Grand Hotel, Working, Cabaret, Parade, The Light In The Piazza, On The Town, Chicago, and Saturday Night Fever. Brett has directed and/or choreographed regionally and around the world, staged various workshops, readings, developmental productions of 17 new musicals, new musical revues for Cunard’s QE2 World Cruise, special events in Mexico and Indonesia, tribute galas for several Presidents and a host of celebrity, fundraiser and industry events. Currently, in addition to his role as Producing Artistic Director of The REV, Brett is developing five new musicals. He is also the director and co-producer of Tim Rice’s newest musical, From Here To Eternity, which made its North American premiere here at The REV in 2016 followed by subsequent productions at Ogunquit Playhouse (2017), a NYC workshop (2019), a 2022 London revival at the Charing Cross Theatre, and, most recently, the Midwest premiere at The Skylight Music Theatre in Milwaukee. Producing highlights include all US productions of Tim Rice’s From Here to Eternity, The REV’s commercial collaborations including Anne of Green Gables (Goodspeed ’22/Pre-Broadway), Loch Ness (Regional/pre-Broadway), Austen’s Pride (Seattle 5th Avenue / Carnegie Hall), and all of the new musicals at The PiTCH. Brett has served on the Boards of the Cayuga County Convention and Visitors Bureau as well as WCNY.  He lives in Auburn, NY and New York City and is a member of The Stage Directors and Choreographers Society (SDC), Actor’s Equity Association (AEA), and The Dramatists Guild (DG).

Charlotte Teplitz* (Assistant Stage Manager) (she/her) is thrilled to be joining her first production at The REV this summer in the beautiful Finger Lakes. Off-Broadway: Oh, Happy Day! At The Public Theater; Blood/Love at Theater 555. Regional: Murder on the Links, Angels in America Part II, and Darker the Night, Brighter the Stars at Portland Stage Company; The Glass Menagerie at Gloucester Stage Company. Charlotte is a proud graduate of Boston College where she got her BA in Theater. Go Eagles! She would like to thank her Mom, Dad, and Grace for the endless support. Musicians

Michael Caporizzo (Guitar) (he/him) is an educator, audio engineer, and guitarist who sustains a diverse and rewarding career in music. He is an Associate Professor and director of the Sound Recording Technology program at the Ithaca College School of Music Theatre and Dance. Mike is an active recording engineer and musician who can frequently be found performing in the central NY region. Previous REV productions include Jesus Christ Superstar, Evita, Catch Me If You Can, Mamma Mia, Saturday Night Fever, Cats, Legally Blonde, Altar Boyz, and Hairspray.

Kevin Dimmel (Reeds) (he/him) is a distinguished saxophonist and dedicated music educator based in Camillus, New York. He holds both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree, as well as a Certificate in Saxophone Performance, from the Crane School of Music. As a versatile performer, Mr. Dimmel is a frequent fixture in the Central New York music scene. He has performed with a wide array of premier ensembles, including: The Syracuse Symphony Orchestra, Central Winds Music Educators’ Wind Ensemble, CNY Jazz Orchestra and many more. Beyond the stage, Kevin is a highly respected educator within the West Genesee School District. He currently serves as the director for the Symphonic Band, the High School Marching Band, Jazz Ensemble, and Indoor Percussion.

Charley Hibschweiler (Trombone) (he/him) is from Clarence, NY. He started playing the trombone in 4th grade, and went on to study trombone performance at the Eastman School of Music under Mark Kellogg. While attending the Eastman School of Music, he was awarded a Performer’s Certificate as well as the Steve Witser Memorial Award. In addition to his studies, Charley regularly appears with The Syracuse Orchestra as a substitute musician. As a high school student, he always looked forward to playing in the school’s pit orchestra, and is now extremely excited to be a part of this production!

Tristan Marzeski (Drums) (he/him) is a multi-instrumentalist, composer, and orchestrator who has instructed and accompanied at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in NYC since 2011. National tours: Meredith Willson’s Miracle on 34th Street, Dr. Seuss’ How The Grinch Stole Christmas; Off-Broadway: A Letter to Harvey Milk, The View UpStairs, Clinton the Musical (and respective original cast albums). Regional: The REV (37 productions across 15 seasons); Syracuse Stage. He contributes to myriad new theatre works and workshops and has performed or recorded with such diverse artists as the Trinity Irish Dancers, The Tiger Lillies, Tony & the Kiki, Jeremy Stolle, Cantori New York. Tristan is thrilled and grateful to be returning to this remarkable theatre and community!

Rob Robson (Trumpet) (he/him) toured with Wayne Cochran and the CC Riders, played in Latin, jazz, and blues groups in New Orleans, then returned to Central New York performing with Out of the Blue, Roosevelt Dean, Salt City Jazz Collective, and the CNY Jazz Orchestra. Rob has performed with artists Natalie Cole, The Temptations, Aretha Franklin, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Frankie Valli, and Frank Sinatra Jr. Musical theatre work here at The REV includes Beautiful: The Carole King Musical, State Fair, 42nd Street, Beehive, Holiday Inn, and Grand Hotel.

James R. Spadafore (Woodwinds) (he/him) is excited to be playing in the pit with such outstanding conductors and musicians. As a freelance musician, James has performed with Marvin Hamlisch, Natalie Cole, Tony Bennett, Frank Sinatra Jr., Ben Vereen, Bob Hope, Petula Clark, The Fifth Dimension, The Spinners, Frankie Valli & the Four Seasons, The Four Tops, and The Temptations. As a pit musician, Mr. Spadafore has performed with the national touring companies of City of Angels, The King And I, A Chorus Line, Peter Pan, Big, Chicago, The Producers, Hairspray, Spamalot, Wicked, The Book of Mormon, The Phantom of the Opera, Beautiful:The Carol King Musical, Motown the Musical, the Lincoln Center tour of My Fair Lady, and MJ the Musical. Mr. Spadafore is currently a member of the Stan Colella Orchestra, and has performed for Syracuse Stage and Syracuse Drama. James resides in Liverpool, NY and wishes to thank his significant other, Betsey, who inspires him each and every day.

Brandon Valerino (Reeds) (he/him) is a professional saxophonist, multi-instrumentalist, and music educator with more than 15 years of performance experience across the United States, South America, and the Dominican Republic. Known for his versatility across pop, rock, funk, and contemporary styles, Brandon has shared the stage with acclaimed artists including Stevie Wonder, John Legend, Macy Gray, Tank and the Bangas, and Jax. He has also performed alongside internationally recognized drag artists, including Manila Luzon, Eureka O’Hara, Utica Queen, and Honey Mahogany. Alongside his performing career, Brandon is a dedicated music educator with more than a decade of teaching experience in both California and New York, where he continues to inspire young musicians through performance, creativity, and music technology. He is grateful to continue sharing his passion for live music with audiences everywhere.
